Publications

The Publications Committee is responsible for the publication of Santa Barbara Seasons, as well as other occasional projects that fit within the mission of the Consortium.
Youth Education Outreach
This Committee seeks to provide, promote, encourage and equip community programs that involve youth in horticulture. HCSB sponsors the Youth Garden Coalition which promotes youth garden programs in the Santa Barbara community and provides garden programs with access to resources and information.
Community Projects
The Community Projects Committee seeks worthwhile projects that have a wide community benefit. The Committee will act as a catalyst to support certain projects that meet Consortium goals.
Volunteer Development and Public Outreach
This Committee works to enhance community volunteerism in horticulture, and find ways to increase public awareness of the benefits of horticulture.
Funding & Grants
The Funding and Grants Committee creates a resource for member organizations by maintaining a list of potential grant opportunities, and organizes fund-raising endeavors.
