Goals
The goal of the Horticulture Consortium of Santa Barbara is to enhance local
horticulture through three areas of effort:

Volunteer Opportunities
There are many non-profit member organizations that offer volunteer opportunities. These include tasks such as gardening, aiding educators,
clerical work and training as a garden docent. Interested parties should visit the following lists of of member organizations that are currently offering volunteer opportunities.

Donations
The Horticulture Consortium accepts donations under the auspices of the PARC Foundation, a 501c3 organization.
Donations are tax deductible and will be used to fund Consortium sponsored activities and projects.
Meetings
The Consortium meets on the third Thursday of every other month. Meetings take place at various sites of horticultural
interest and often include a tour of the facility.
Publications
The Consortium publishes Santa Barbara Seasons, a guide to horticultural sites and events.
Included are gardening tips, feature articles, and a map to local horticultural features.

Committees
Efforts to fulfill the goals of the Consortium are are carried out by committees formed by Consortium members.
