Most library materials do not have to be returned to the library from which they were borrowed. They may be returned to any Black Gold library. Lompoc books MAY be returned to any public library in Ventura County, Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County.
After hours, books may be returned in the library's book drop.
Because audiovisual materials can be damaged when heavy books fall on top of them in the book drop, cassettes, compact disks, and videocassettes must be returned to the circulation desk during the library's open hours, unless the library has a book drop specifically marked for audio-visual items.
