By the way, what is going on

2.
Can you tell us
something about da Man himself? C'mon, dish!
Like John Paul Ziller, Tom is "more loosely rooted in
the hardpan of traditional behavior than most men." But Dale Kirby has
compiled some biographical notes: http://www.rain.org/~da5e/trbio.html
3.
How do I send fan email (not fanny
mail that's too bulky--for that use Ma Bell's special bootie-call
service) to Tom Robbins?
Snail mail will get to him if you send it to
- Tom Robbins
Union of Mad Scientists
PO Box 338
LaConner, Wa 98257
(Thanks Joe Gores.)
Wishing on a star (Sirius B) has also been known to work (or
at least as well as the other two methods.) Warning: If you are a
"quasi-religious computer programmer" in search of the Higher Source,
this may not be a good option for you.

5.
Have any of Tom's novels been made
into movies?
So far only one. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues came out
last year. It has its moments, but in general disappointed most Robbins
fans. The upside was that it hit the video stores rather quickly. And
its soundtrack album by k.d. lang is fine, so fine.
6.
Has Tom written under any
pseudonyms?
No, despite the rumors.
7.
It's been said that Tom sometimes
finds himself under the influence. Could you tell us of what?
Sure, but it's a stange brew and illegal in some states
(of mind.) His influences include: John
Cage (Silence) James
Joyce, Alfred
Jarry,Gunter
Grass, Blaise
Cendrars, Henry
Miller, Claes
Oldenburg, George
Herriman (creator of Krazy Kat) and the Coconut Monk.
