Camp Internet News from the Director
January 10 - January 16, 2005

Timothy Tyndall - Director - Camp Internet

Weekly News from the Director of Camp Internet.

Weather continues to be a big part of our lives as Winter progresses. The rain in California has been unusual but not due to an El Nino. What is causing such wild weather? Let's explore further in the Camp Internet Meteorology class.
Go to : http://www.rain.org/campinternet/meteorology/

Students have been gathering rain, wind and temperature records and sending the data in to be included in Camp Internet's GIS Weather mapping project. In the course of doing the weather information gathering students learn to record, organize and create a spreadsheet of data they gather doing real life Meteorology.

If you have any weather experiences to report go to the Camp Field Report area and send in a Weather Field Report.
