The American History Class has a special unit dedicated to the history of Thanksgiving. Go to : http://www.rain.org/campinternet/american-history/thanksgiving/ to begin study. Winter Weather is here! Now is the time to use the Camp Internet Weather Report Form. Your reports will become part of a GIS weather monitoring project for the 2004-2005 school year. Go to: http://www.rain.org/campinternet/meteorology/campweatherform.html to use the Weather Report Form. We encourage exploration of the Meteorology study unit during this season. Go to: http://www.rain.org/campinternet/meteorology to begin study in the Camp Internet Meteorology class. Spend some time in class this week reviewing the Camp Civics web. It is a valuable review of the workings of the American Government as we get ready for next weeks Election. The Camp Internet GATE class is one of the best ways to explore nearly all of Camp's different units. Woven into the GATE curriculum is an online exploration through the rich and diverse materials within Camp Internet. Goto: http://www.rain.org/GATE-web-2004 to check out the GATE class web. Have your students goto the GATE class web when they are working on Science Fair projects or other research. Field Reports and GIS reports are beginning to come in from classes around the world. If you are working on the Global Garden curriculum and want to send in a Garden Field Report go to: http://www.rain.org/global-garden/garden-field-report-form.html The Ocean Studies class has new units this week at: http://www.rain.org/ocean/ The Peace Studies class has new units in History and the Science of Peace.
