Winter Weather is here!

Now is the time to use the Camp Internet Weather Report Form. Your reports will become part of a GIS weather monitoring project for the 2004-2005 school year.

We encourage exploration of the Meteorology study unit during this season. Go to: http://www.rain.org/campinternet/meteorology to begin study in the Camp Internet Meteorology class.

Great Pumpkins!!!
The Global Gardening class has a new study unit on Pumpkins for October. Go to the Garden Homepage at http://www.rain.org/global-garden/ and have your students begin to review the history, mythology and science of Pumpkins.

Spend some time in class this week reviewing the Camp Civics web. It is a valuable review of the workings of the American Government as we get ready for next weeks Election. Go to: http://www.rain.org/campinternet/american-history/civics/civics-index.html for the Civics Class.

The Camp Internet GATE class is one of the best ways to explore nearly all of Camp's different units. Woven into the GATE curriculum is an online exploration through the rich and diverse materials within Camp Internet. Goto: http://www.rain.org/GATE-web-2004 to check out the GATE class web. Have your students goto the GATE class web when they are working on Science Fair projects or other research.
