Weekly News from the Director of Camp Internet.
We will spend this week getting to know the "Students Web".
The Student Web is a resource center that quickly links you into the Online Full Text Library of Books which
Camp Internet adds to every month. It is also your guateway to early Science Fair planning as well as your
personal dictionary, notepad and drawing pad.
Very important in your Student Web Center is the web based E-Mail tool. During the year we will explore several different types
of E-Mail readers to learn what works best for each of you. You will need your user i.d. and password to use your Camp Internet e-mail.

As part of the Camp Internet you have access to a lot of online reading reasources.
Everything from Storybooks, Native American Stories and early American
Literature is waiting for you to explore.
Camp Internet is very much like a Library. When you first go into the Public or School Library
you see a lot of shelves (stacks) of books. One of the first things you want to do is explore areas
that interest you.
It is the same with online learning Centers like Camp Internet. Learn to explore and locate resources
that connect with your personal interest or current class study assignments. Use Camp Internet like you
would use a Library and it will reward you in remarkable ways.

Let's look at some of the areas you can explore as School starts up.
