As winter weather continues we explore the Meteorology studies unit. Students have been gathering rain, wind and temperature records and sending the data in to be included in Camp Internet's GIS Weather mapping project. In the course of doing the weather information gathering students learn to record, organize and create a spreadsheet of data they gather doing real life Meteorology.

Channel Islands class
Before winter break we studied the role China may have had in discovering North America. This week in Channel Islands class we will look at the "World Around Sailors" of Polynesia.

Goto the new study unit on Polynesian Explorers in Channel Islands class to begin this weeks study.

New for Camp are the quiz units built into these 2 new Channel Islands study units. At the bottom of the Chnia and Polynesia study units are quiz, essay and picture exams. Be sure to have your students send them in.
