Robert Louis Stevenson in California Dig! - Come learn about this famous writer and his one year sojourn in California where he wrote, married, and explored the mountains and coast. Camp Internet has acquired a first edition book written by one of his step-daughters who explains that the ideas for Treasure Island were formed during walks in the dunes along the California Coast. We also have excerpts to enjoy of tales of his experience in the Sierras and around Mt Saint Helena including his venture into the Petrified Forest. So do join us for this famous writer DIG this week!

Learn how Native Americans used plants for medicinal purposes. Collect data about the native plants in your own region and study where they fit into the overall California Plant Community.
