Pirates Ho !

We are beginning our section on Pirates, Shipwrecks, and Smugglers. The Internet DIGS will feature challenges to learn about all sides of these stories, and some unexpected plots and clever defenses. The Channel was plagued by Pirates - learn about their exploits online.

We encourage reading Treasure Island, or viewing the film at home or at school with the students. We have a full biography on Robert Louis Stevenson and pirate activities for the classroom. Were pirates heroes or criminals ? It was not always easy to tell .....
