Science
Learning to use GIS maps provides tremendous value in visualizing the
entire Biome we call the Channel Islands region.
Goto: to begin using the
Camp GIS map library.
Start by selecting the map "California Central Coast". It is second from
the top of the list. Explore this map. It will provide information on real
time tide, stream and protected areas.
We will continue during the month to explore the GIS maps and how to best
use them and perhaps add to them. Next we will look at the Camp Internet
GIS map which provides a tremendous example of Teacher and Student content
built into a GIS map.
