Buckminister Fuller called the early Polynesian sailors "world around sailors" because
he believed they were the first to sail around the globe.
Is it possible that Explorers from the South Pacific, from Polynesia, were the
first to discover the Channel Islands?
Start by selecting the map "California Central Coast". It is second from
the top of the list. Explore this map. It will provide information on real
time tide, stream and protected areas.
We will continue during the month to explore the GIS maps and how to best
use them and perhaps add to them. Next we will look at the Camp Internet
GIS map which provides a tremendous example of Teacher and Student content
built into a GIS map.
