Some of the parents participating in our program are actually the Program Leaders for a group of students participating in Explore the California Channel Islands - for a boy scout troop, an afterschool program, a neighborhood group, or a homeschooling family.

Other parents are enjoying participating by tuning in during the week - from an office computer during lunch, or a home computer on the evenings or weekends to see what their kids are doing with the Camp in their school or afterschool programs.

What ever level you join us at - WELCOME !!!

Parents are a very important part of the Camp Internet learning environment and we will be introducing special projects and services to you as we go along. If you are a parent who has actually subscribed for a Family Membership in Camp Internet, you will enjoy the benefits of having your own private Family Room on the RAIN Network where you can post messages and carry on conversations with your family - maybe a daughter away at college, a highschooler who forgot to take their lunch ? or an elementary student needing some encouragement to finish that tough math assignment.

And of course Subscribing Families have special subscriber-only access to our Camp Trail Guides and other programs just like the kids in the classroom will be enjoying. And we strongly encourage your family to build its own web site to document your home Expedition findings as you go along - you can include the essays, questions and answers, drawings, science projects - even photographs taken of your family out on an Expedition to a local museum - or out on a whale watch. The basic subscription provides you with an online directory where you can build your own family web site and we will link it to the Camp web site - or if you elect the Family-max subscription, we will build the web site for you.
