Coyote and Beetle

Once the Coyote came upon a pinacate ( a blck beetle ) in this position ( with its head to the ground ) and cried ‘ Ahora te voy comer, amigo pinacate ( now I am going to eat you, friend pinacate ). Thinking quickly, the pinacate replied that he was listening " to what they say in the other world. They are getting ready the bows and arrows to kill the cagones ( cowards ) who defecate in el camino ( the road ) and dirty up the road. ‘ Yo soy ( It is I ! ) cried the Coyote in alarm and ran off.
