Steps
- Agree on a topic with your team members.

- Decide on a format for your project.
- Large Poster (22" X 28")
- Big Book (8 pages minimum)
- Display Board (like a science project board)
- Mural (6 ft. in length)
- Assign a job to each team member.
- Writer: The writer makes labels for illustrations and writes short explanations or descriptions for each part of the project.
- Illustrator: The illustrator draws and colors pictures for the project.
- Researcher: The researcher looks for information about the chosen topic in books and on the Internet.
- Project Director: The project director organizes the project and helps with writing, illustration, and research.
- Begin planning and research.
- Continue working until project is complete.
- Get your final project approved by Mrs. Pérez.
- Present your project to the class.
Guidance: Here are some questions to think about as you work on your project.
Questions
- Is every team member doing his/her job?
- Did you find all the information you can on your topic?
- Are your illustrations or pictures large and easy to see?
- Did you label everything clearly?
- Are all the words spelled correctly?
- Does every team member have a part in the presentation?
