Your  Objectives:

 

  1. Locate your Mission destinations on the enclosed map.

 

  1. With your team, visit each destination and, using your Mission G.P.S.ible hand held unit, find and record the Latitude and Longitude of each Destination.

 

  1. Record your discoveries with any of the following : take field notes of your keen observations, use a Mission Camera, or make drawings to record your discoveries.

 

  1. While at each site, make certain to locate and record the answers to the Mission Challenge questions that can be found only at each specific destination.

 

  1. Return to your Camp Internet Outpost and report your findings.

 

 

Intended Outcomes: Mission Explorers will learn to work collaboratively to become effective observers and will gather GPS, scientific, demographic, and/or historical data relating to sites of important events in the past - or that are important right now, today. This information will be carefully reported and stored by each team using high tech archivist equipment at their Camp Internet Outpost, and will become an important part of the 2001-2002 Camp Internet Archive available for view in the future on the Camp Internet web and GIS maps.
