Welcome to Camp Internet's Field Report Center
Camp Internet Outposts - the classrooms, homeschools, afterschool programs,
or libraries that participate in Camp Internet - have a special opportunity
to become featured TRAIL GUIDES right here in the Field Report
Center. Not only do our students use our program to gather information
and turn that information into knowledge, they are also given a tool that
helps them learn to SHARE that new knowledge responsibly with others.
Families can also post reports on their learning expeditions by special
arrangement.
The Field Report Center is where Camp Outpost Leaders (teachers,
librarians, and parents) and Campers (students) will work on projects
that lead to posting findings right here, online, to share with hundreds
of other Camp Outposts. Do take this responsibility seriously as what
you post here reflects your best personal accomplishments - and - goes
into the permanent archive where you can showcase your work to family
and friends anytime.
Teachers, Librarians, or Parents: We have exercises online to
help you develop skill in using this new communication tool - see the
Teacher's Web. It will be your responsibility to help your students design
and prepare effective written Field Reports on any Camp-related activity
you choose, and it will be your sole responsibility to select acceptable
images and any external links that will be incorporated in your Outpost's
postings. Watch the Camp calendar for upcoming Field Report assignments,
and help your students develop education-rich reports with one digital
image per posting when possible.
We Look Forwards to Seeing Your Field Reports Online
