The Hopi

A Hopi Prophesy

The Hopi pass along from generation to generation an important story that contains many prophesies of things to come. These prophesies carry many similarities and even exact compliment sin other tribal prophesies around the world.

200 years ago elders of the Hopi tribe predicted:
· Roads in the sky
· Moving houses of iron
· The ability to speak long distances through cobwebs
· Highways and automobiles traveling east to west
· First and Second World Wars (Great Shaking of the Earth)
· The Atom Bomb (Gourd of Ashes)
· Landing on the Moon ("The Eagle has Landed" as was broadcast upon landing)
· Construction of the Space Station

In recent years Hopi have been sharing aspects of this story with the international community. One of the gentle speakers of this story was Thomas Banyaca, whose words in the Hopi declaration of Peace are included below in our Hopi studies. A student of Banyaca's message prepared this synopsis of the elder Hopi's sharing of the Hopi prophesy.
