Naomi McIntosh I currently serve as the Sanctuary Operations Coordinator for the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Program. I work out of the Sanctuary's Oahu Office, located in the Hawaii Kai. I have been with the Sanctuary Program since March 1994. My responsibilities include providing information about the Hawaii Sanctuary to the public to help raise awareness on the importance of protecting humpback whales and their habitat in waters around Hawaii. I work closely with educators, scientists, and other government agencies to develop programs that enhance protection for Hawaii's marine resources. These programs address education, research and conservation issues.
