on the Channel Islands, scientists were very surprised to learn that people
were discovering ancient mammoth bones. Some of the skeletons were from
giant Imperial Mammoths that lived up to a hundred thousands years ago.
Others were from bones of little mammoths that lived up to 10,000 years
ago. |
