of the eight Channel Islands off the coast of Southern California are different
in shape and size. |

the smallest, Santa Barbara, to the largest, Santa Cruz, each island's geologic
origin, geography of valleys and mountains, plants, and animals vary. What
they all have in common are being a rare habitat with unique life and formations
found no where else on earth. All were home or hunting ground for Native
Peoples. Let's explore them from the north to the South… |
