#5. Some of the differences between the desert and mountain Cahuilla are different housing styles, clothing, and food sources. In the desert, the houses are made of brush lashed together. In the mountains, they make houses out of large logs, earth and brush. The desert dwellers made sandals, whil the mountain people made moccasins.
