Sonnet by Ivy Row Year 10, Kristin Students, Albany, Auckland, New Zealand: . . . . Wed, Sep 24, 9:27AM PST (-0800 GMT)
Sonnet .................. The ever-changing tides mimic life’s time.... Reaching extreme highs then shallow depths.... The shells and sand resemble the coastline.... Of ourselves which we consider our flesh.......... Though the existence of the sea’s land.... Compared to none like the beauty of time.... The power of my wave’s journey shapes and.... Alters the character I have moulded, mine.... The power and existence of seas like .... The contents of our souls full of life and uniqueness amaze.... Like starfish in a flowing sea we all site.... In insecure depths of seas or in the confidence of bays ........ As the coastlines of our bodies disappear and change.... The sprit of the sea becomes more precious with age....

Water by Dasan Ker Y9 Year 10, Kristin Students, Albany, Auckland, New Zealand: . . . . Wed, Sep 24, 9:28AM PST (-0800 GMT)
Water ........ The buckets will emerge from the thirsty hands,... The valves will release from above the arid sands,... The trucks supply begin to diminish,... Before the dying man is able to finish,... His family gather in sorrow and awe,... Now he is no more,... Such a small amount can give so much,... But few care to give as such,... Who are these people that reach out and touch?

Water by Melanie Archibald Year 10, Kristin Students, Albany, Auckland, New Zealand: . . . . Wed, Sep 24, 9:30AM PST (-0800 GMT)
Water ................ Wilted bark dancers over concrete mud... Great reflective blues flow to juiceless, dehydrated deserts... Cities suck out the last drips of abused, thirsty dams. Darkness plunges over... Magnificent forests fall as the river of roots gasp for change of their destiny. .. Pity money flows thorough barren countries pumps, quenching a hunger of thirst, But only like before it all slowly dries up promising times Mirages damp the perishable fake air... Perplexity takes over all can only hope, They get one last taste... Why did this happen? .. What did we do?.. Life drifts as the final trickle evaporates to oblivion... Disregard it crystal images of glitter a distant memory... Like a transparent tidal wave all are smothered in its dry wake... Natures evanescence blood of life.

HOPE OF PEACE by Grace SE Kim Y12, Kristin Students, Albany, Auckland, New Zealand: . . . . Wed, Sep 24, 9:32AM PST (-0800 GMT)
HOPE OF PEACE ......... Tis’ dark, tis’ cold... Further I walk... Find meself drowning, suffocating within, Where is thy moonlight, shining at my sheath; Why am I, that lonesome star with none magnitude............. Pray begins to God above, minute, hour, after day... Awaiting the heavenly voice- flowing river, blowing breeze; Answer, cannot be found... For thy gloom engulfed; Embrace to find the galaxy... Milky way, beyond............... Space between spirit and soul... Blue print, imagination... Tis’ where to put thy thoughts... And I shall borrow to keep my dreams alive...

Elizabeth Aguero September 17, 2003 Per. 3....... Peace Poem ........ Well first of all I wanted to say that at first there was peace and quiet until there was that awful tragedy when Asama Binladen made those two twin towers fall. In the two towers there were thousands of people that were working there when the tragedy happened. All of those people who were in the explosion had families, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, and other family members in the towers to take care of, and I bet that it was really hard for them to hear that their family members were there in the explosion, and that they are dead. We will never forget September the 11th.

Katherine Arias Period 4 Peace Poem... September 11 such an unforgettable day. The day many innocent life's were destroyed. On that tragic day the famous twin towers of New York were knocked down for the second time. The twin towers meant so much to many people. When I find out that the twin towers were under terrorists attack I was in shock, I thought about how many innocent life's would soon be destroyed. On that tragic day I thought to myself “Why would anybody do such thing?” I also thought the terrorists probably attacked the twin towers thinking the U.S. would totally be destroyed, but instead we grew more as a nation. I will never forget September 11.

We can hug our future children with arms of destruction, You can’t be a good role model, If all you do is destroy So help stop the war For the sake of our future children.

Nicole Soria Period 4 The World..... The world would be a better place with peace then without peace. Why? Because their would be no people fighting and children crying, their would be people caring for each other and preventing any trouble from happening. People would be nice instead of killing each other with knife’s. Families would like each other a lot instead of getting shot. I hope one day the world would be a better place no matter what it takes, I know someday it will be a better place.
