Lester told the king ''why don't we change places'' Lester told the king you be me and I be you. The king agreed. The king gave the crown to the cloun and they started playing and the real king got mud and put it with dough and was throuing it to the cloun that was sain that he was the king then at the end the real king tells Lester The Jeste that he does deserve to be a real king then Lester got a crown and became a real king.

Deadly Snakes by:Lisa McCourt Illustrated by:Allan Eitzen This story is about a cobra that can't see or hear .Most snakes can hear and see.There is a ratin front of the snakeand he can't see,but the snake sticks his tongue out and the snake can pick up the sent of the rat and the snake attacks the rat and he eats the rat whole.The fangs of the cobra are stuck in the rats body so the venom goes in the rats body.The venom flows with the rats blood.A anaconda catches his prey different,he wraps around the prey so they can't breathe and it eats them whole.When snakes swallow they're prey so you can see the prey moving through the snakes digestive system because the prey is to big for the snakes stomach.

Adam stand in front of the mirror and said" I'm the king and ruler of this land".Then the mirrror said to Adam "you want to be a evil king?" "step into the mirror ." Adam step into the mirror carefuly and appear in a big castle and there were three survant in the floor because there were cleaning the floor.Then Adam went to the village and said" give me a tribute or you will pay . so every person gave the king a tribute.One man didn't have any tribute and the soldiers put him in the little confined.Then Adam was tired and wanted to go home but the mirror didn't let Adam go home. Adam said to the miror "I want to go back home " the mirror said to Adam"you can't go ho e becouse you have to recinized his consequences. Adam reconized all of his mistake and the mirror let Adam go home. He appear in the basement and told his pet that he wont want to be mean ny more.

The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munseh .....................This story is about a princess that had every expensive princess clothes and was about to get married with a prince but they did not because adragon came and blew up her castle and ate her family ,but took her prince ,then she had no clothes but a paper bag so she putted on ,after she went to the dragons house and said give me my prince back but the dragon said "no" come back tomorrow ,then the princess asked her alot of questions and they were all true . Then the dragon died so the princess opened the door of the dragons house and there she went found the prince ,thenthe prince said "you smell nasty and until you put on nice clothes then we will get married", so then the princess said" you have nice clothes neat hair but you do not look like a bum" ,but the at the and they did not get married after all.

Next all of them agree with bear about what he said.So Franklin says I am leaving so he left. When he gets home he walks right upstairs with an angry face. So later Franklin sees his friends and just walks away. Fanily Franklin says okay I will be an outfielder he cought fiies but not one ball. that is how the story ends.

This story takes place in the sea.It all starts when a boy and a girl are kind of indians or chumash.When they where playing they saw a boat they ran and told they're dad the girls dad was the leader of all the indians that lived there.The boat that the kids saw was full of people that wanted skin of seal.All the indians got prepared. The chief was the first one behind were his soldiers to protect all the other indians.When the boat landed on there land the both chiefs made a deal if the indian chief let the other chief get skin they would get something for them.So they started geting skin.When they were about to leave.The other chief said "wheres are things that you old us".He turned around and shot him .One day a man said pack all your stuff.So they pack everything even the girl and the boy. When they got in the boat.The little boy went back and the girl swam to get her brother.The next morning the girl found her brother ded.The girl started to do what all the boys did. One day the girl shot the dog that ate her brother.But the dog liked the girl and they became friends. Harriet Tubman Harriet Tubman was born on 1820 in Maryland.She and her mather were afraid that they were going to get seperated from each other.When Harriet was only six years old a white man seperated her from her mother and sold her to a farmer.She and some other kids lived in a farm that the farmer had.In the farm there was rats and the children never had nothing to eat,so they starved to death.When Harriet grew older she was the only one alive that didn't starve to death.She also became stronger...............After that,the farmer didn't want Harriet any more, so the farmer returned her to the white man.Then Harriet's mother found her and Harriet's mother took her back home.The white man caught them and her mother said to leave her fre so she can't be a slave anymore.The white man let her go,but Harriet said to let go out the slaves that were new and didn't know what to do....................When Harriet was nineteen years old was was trying to free the slaves and she always tried to free the slaves.Then when she was twenty years old she spoke to all the slaves and she said that some day they will be free.Then one day all the slaves were free and in 1913 she died in Auburn,New York.

The Story of Ruby Bridges This story is about a girl named Ruby Bridges.Ruby and her family were very poor,they lived in a cabin near Tylertown,Mississippi.In this story brave little Ruby goes to a school ,a school for only white children the white people call ruby bad names when she gets to the school,so let's see what the story is about. ................. Ruby Bridges was very poor her father worked on picking crops and he didn't get payed with alot of money.One day Ruby's father came home very sad because some men came with their machines and so he had to find another job and thats when she had to move,Ruby was for years old when that happened...............Ruby's parent's both found a job her father worked on saling houses and her mother worked on cleaning housesa few years later a lawer called four girls to go to a school for white kids.The next morning some marshes came to pick up Ruby and when she got to the school she was very scared because all the white people were calling her name's and she didnt care .One morning when Ruby went to school some white children were in her class and then a few days later all the children from the school were there and Ruby became friends with them.

This story takes place in an island.That island was calm until some strange people came and they wanted to trayed some things for seals.But then the people just took the seals and then they just shot the mayor and some other people.Then other people came and took them to a safe island but Coraya and Romo didn't went with them. After that Coraya and Romo were planning to go the next day but they didn't because some dogs had killed him. Coraya was sad. But then the dogs came back but Coraya put the houses in fire and she went to another place. Next she hurt one of the dogs that killed her brother.But then the dog was Corayas friend it's name was Ranto. After that Ranto let Coraya alone.Next Coraya was sleeping in the sand that when she got up and some other dogs came and wanted to eat Coraya but Ranto saved her. Then Ranto died . Next the people came and took Coraya.

Mrs. Rumphius grew up nad she grew a garden while she lived very happy. the next spring Mrs.Rumphuis was not well, Her back was bothering her and she had to stay in bed for most of the time.Mrs.Rumphiusloved Lupines the best and she wished to plant some more this year,but she was not able to plant the seeds because her back was bothering her.After Miss. Rumhius had a hard winter came spring and felt much better than her last spring .One afternoon she went started to go up and over the hill where she had not been in a long time. when she got thereshe could not believe her eyes because on the four sides of the hill there was a large patch of blue and purple and rose-colored lupines. She said'" it was the wind that brought the seeds from her garden to here and the birds must have helped to." Miss.Rumphius then had a good idea and she hurried home to see her seed catalogs.Then Miss.Rumphius went to the very best seed house and bought five bushels of lupine seeds.All that summer Miss.Rumphius had her pockets full of seeds and everywhere she went she threw seeds. Now Miss. Rumphius is called the lupine lady and everyone goes to the front of her house and just smiles at her all the time.

Island Of The Blue Dolphins By Scott O'Dell The story takes place in a island in Santa Barba. The story starts when the chumash people thought that they could trust the Europions that came to their island to hunt for otters.Korana and Ramo are the kids of the leather of the chumash. When Korana tries to help her brother make weapens her father tells her if women make weapens they will get eaten by the sea. The chumash made their houses out of straws called huts. When the Europions left they shot the leather then they bomb the island of the chumash people. Then after a while they left with spanish people.They left Ramo behind but,then his sister went back to get him. Then Ramo tries to kill the wolfs but,a dog attaked him and he died.Korana tries to kill the dog that killed her brother the dog survide and she kept him as a pet. At the end of the story the dog dies and Korana keeps a puppy that she found.Then the spanish people came back and got her. And this is the report of Island of the Blue Dolphins that is base on a true story.

THE CLASS PRESIDENT by:Johanna Huritz............ This story The Class President takes place in an elemetary school.It all starts when Mr.Flores afifth grade teacher announced that his fifth grade class would vote for class president .It became a big mess when Cricket and Lucas both wanted to be class president................ Julio was trying to help his friend Lucas win class president while Cricket was busy trying to help herself to win.A bigger mess started when their principal took away soccer,so the students could`t play it just because someone had fell and broken his glasses.So Julio,Cricket,and Lucas went to talk to the principal.Cricket and Lucas were really really scared.They didn`t even talk to the principal.Only Julio talked the principal into letting them play soccer again.But when they got back from the principals office,Cricket said she got soccer back..................When election time came Julio wasn`t participating in being class president,but he became class president for being good,loyal,kind,friendly,and thoughtful.The moral of this story is to be kind to others,it might acually pay off and be useful for some reasons.

Then a dragon comes and eats the whole castle and takes the prince with him andburns up the princess's clothes and she has no more clothes left to wear. Then the princess goes to find the prince. She was wearing a paper bag. The princess say's "that it is easy to find the dragon because there are burned trees and dand the dead horses on the track!"When the princess found the cave where the dragon lives. she knocked on the door and the dragon open the door and the dragon said that prince is my supper because the dragon said. After that the princess and the dragon went to the forest the dragon said that he could burn down ten forest's within 5 min. Then the princess asked the dragon if he can go around the world in just ten sec.When the dragon came he was very tired to walk. thn the prncess went to the castle she saved the prince and she left home.

The Island Of The Blue Dolphins By:Scott O'Dell illustraded by:Ted Lewin..........This story is about some indians were on their island,then some weard mans came to their island,the weard man wanted otter skin the indians didnt wanted to give them the otter skin,so they stade like that.The next day they came again the weard mans ask them again if they could have the otter skin,the indians didnt wanted,so the mans took out some neckles,he said if I give the neckleses you would give me the otter skin the indian didnt wanted,so the man and his group started shooting, so almost all the indians died just like 5 indians stayed and the kids of 1 indian . Then all the indians that where left went to another place,they took the girl the doughter of the indian they didnt tookthe boy because the boy didnt wanted to stay,the girl went back because she didnt wanted to leave her brother allown.So the girl and the boy stayed allown in the island..........Then there were some dogs and the boy wanted to kill the dogs because the dogs bother the kid,so early in the morning the girl woke up and she didnt saw her little brother, when she found her brother she found him with the dogs , the dogs have killed his little brother..........So she stayed allown. She wanted to kill the dogs she practice to shoot with the errows when she learned, she shoot the realy mean dog, the dog got hurt , when she saw that the dog was sofering she heip the dog and the dog and her became friends..........Then she met a lady, the lady didn't speak english she speak in another language, the girl and the lady spoke in sign language so they could uderstand each other,so they became friends..........Then the lady wanted to leave with the people who killed the father of the girl,the lady wanted the girl leave with her the girl said "no I can't because they killed my father",so the lady left her in the island alone..........then for a few days the girl found a little baby seal so the dog and her started to take care of the baby seal. WEhen the baby seal left the dog died and the girl was sad..........So she stayed alone again. then after a few days she found a little puppy just like the dog she had. At the end the girl and the dog left the island to live in a better place.

Penny was howling and scratching the door that her owners gave her Pup so he could be his friend.Penny loved it, she huged it, and chewed him into pieces. One day Penny was going with Pup for a walk.So There was Henry the cat sitting in the garden. He said were are you going ? So Penny said that he was going with Pup for a walk. So Henry said if he could go with him, but Penny said that Pup doesn't want him to go. So Henry said I am sorry. So Penny and Pup walked till they got to the gate of the backyard and Betsy the rabbit was sitting in her hutch. Whenbetsy told penny where he was going, penny said that he was going with pup for a walk. betsy then asked if she could go with them. but penny said that pup does not want anybody to go with them. so pup walked., they saw at the edge of the lawn matt the fox. matt asked "where are you going?" so penny said"we are going for a walk". Matt replied"ok". So penny started cryingbecause she could'nt find pup. later all her friends asked what had been going on. so penny told her friends that she couln't find pup anywhere. at the end everyone started looking for pup and found him in the bush together with the mice.

Shrek by:Mike Myers,Eddie Murphy,Cameron Diaz and John Lithcow............Shrek is a ogre that likes being alone.He lives in a swamp.While he was in his swamp eating,some guys where making a plan to kill him.Then the guys went to Shrek's swamp but Shrek scared them.After a little while people where selling fairy tale creatures for exchange of money.In the line was a woman with a talking donkey but the donkey ran away and bumped into Shrek.Now donkey was happy of being free.But Shrek was getting mad at donkey for singing and for following him.When they got to Shrek's swamp donkey asked Shrek if he could stay but Shrek said for one night only. When the donkey went inside Shrek got mad and told him to sleep outside. But later on alot of fairy tale creatures came to Shrek's pond.So one of the three little pigs told Shrek that Lord Farquaad told them to stay at Shrek's swamp.So Shrek and donkey went to Lord Farquaad's castle to tell him to take the fairy tale creatures off his swamp.While Shrek and donkey went to Dulock ,Lord Farquaad wanted to be king so he choose princess Fiona to get married with. So when Shrek and donkey got spotted Lord Farquaad told his men to kill Shrek. But Shrek wins and the Lord Farquaad tells Shrek to save princess Fiona.On their long journey they got to the big castle guarded by a fire breathing dragon.But they got trough the dragon but it gets the donkey. when Shrek gets in the room of the princess he tells her to go with him .So then Shrek tries saving donkey.When Shrek saves donkey all three go running and got out because the dragon was tide on a big chain.After a while the princess wanted to camp out because at night she turned into a ogre.The next day princess and Shrek become best friends .But then at night he hears the princess talking that she had to mary Lord Farquaad or she would always turn into a ogre.So Shrek got mad and called Lord Farquaad.Lord Farquaad came in the morning and tooked the princess.Then Shrek went back to the swamp but donkey was following him and Shrek told donkey to leave so donkey left.Then donkey found the dragon and became friends.But Shrek loved trhe princess alot.So then donkey came to the swamp and put a row of branches .When Shrek heard him he came out and said sorry.So they took a ride on the dragon and went to the wedding and wanted to talk to the pricess.But she didn't want to.So Shrek told her that he loved her . So she turned into a ogre but when Lord Farquaad saw her he wanted to kill both of them,but when the dragon came it ate Lord Farquaad .After that the princess stayed as a ogre and got married with Shrek.

Over my vacation of January 02 I read the book “If you didn`t have me”! The author of my book is Ulf Nilson. It had 11 chapters and the genre is farm life fiction. The main characters in my book were Edwin and grandma. I can`t tell you the main characters name cause it wasn't in the book. Edwin is the stubborn little baby who yelled all the time. Grandma and the main character were the quiet ones on the farm. The thing I didn`t like about the main character was that he was so bratty when he was singing all the time. If I had to be one of the characters I would be Cilia cause she loved to read. The place they lived was at an old farm in the country with grandma`s garden and my uncle near. I go to the farm every day and feed the animals. Then we would ride back in the back of the tractor that his uncle would be pulling. The reason I went to my grandma`s house for the summer is cause my parents were building the house in town. I loved this book. THE END

The Search for Piranha The tile of this book if The search for Piranha. The authors of this book is Henry Bamman and Robert Whitehead. There are eight chapters in this book that tell you about South America. The main chapters are Rich and Mark. There are scientists that came from USA to search for the PIRANHA and after they catch it there going to research it and and put it in aquarium. Some qualities that i admire in characters are that they are really brave after all they have seen a large snake called Anaconda,then piranha eating a buffalo in the river and some other dangerous animals in the river. Some qualities that i don't like about the characters are that they don’t like to talk about themselves because i like to hear what is in science world. The main interesting the character is involved in is like adventure finding Piranha,seeing a Anaconda,see the indian live on the water land. I think i would be Mark because he is like kind of outer the danger zone. Rich is always like getting in the water where the piranha is and other dangerous animals are that why I rather would be Mark than Rich. The story take place in South America,Brazil in the amazon River.The story take place in the past in the year 1964. The stories setting are real,but it is fictional because it is an adventure book that was created in 1964. There is no conflict in the characters but there is a problem see they are worried if they can catch piranha or not and they are worried about if they die in the jungle or they probably wont make it back if they don't have enough money. The major event in the story are when they see the rain falling at the same time, when the is up,then when the piranha eat the buffalo and the monkey,then they see the Giant Anaconda,and finally they see the indian on the little floating island. The thing i would change in the end of the story is that they shouldn’t leave on the ship they should leave on the airplane because it’ll take time in the ship instead in the airplane it would only take a few hours. I would change the other thing in the story is the character in the end instead of indians it should be the city people because they didn’t have to cross the Del Negro River.

The chief upset the deal.Then the american people was getting to many skin so the chief went and told the america if he could see how many skins they have. the people said "sure". So when the indians chief went to see the skins the people took a gun out and started shuting. The america shut the chief and other indians. Then when the people went back to their land a indian came and told the others indians to go with them to another world. So Korana got in the boat but Ramo was steal in the island. Korana jumped into the water and swam all the way to the island. Ramo and Korana stayed in the island all alone. The next morning Korana found out that the dogs killed Ramo. Korana said "that the dogs will suffert because his Brother life. A few days later Korana through a arrow to a dog and a few days later she cure the dog and became friends. A month past and Korana dog died she was very sad. Then she found a baby dog so Korana loved him becouse it remined her of the other dog. Then one day Korana said" I will go and find a new world a better place to live" so she did.

Koranas' has to get off the Island before the Aleuts return.She is in the sea,but she see's her brother,Romoe steel on the Island.So she swam back to help her brother.Their all alone. Ramo tells Karanah that he is chef Mohookaw.Karanah tell's Romoe that he's too young. The Aleuts' dog killed Romoe.So she tried to kill the dog. Korana is all alone except she is there with the amimals.I like this story because Korana showd me not to give up on anything.

So the chief decided to let them have some.After they picked a lot of fur they did not give the Chumash the things they said and killed most of them including the chief.Then the friend of the chief told the kids that they were going to live the place,but since the brother of the girl stayed Karana had to go for him.But the boats were they were going to leave at left and they had to stay.A few day's later Karanas broyhert died because he was bitten by some dogs. Now Karana is very lonely. When she saw the dog that killed her brother Karana tried to to kill them,but some of them left and she only caught one.That dog was winning that she was very sad and she realized him the dog was sad and wouldn't move.Then Karana had a good idea and she built a house and she kept the dog as a pet.Karana is not alone know and she feels much better she had the dog for a long time until ine day Ronto got a wierd illness.Karana got very sad,and when she tried to save him the dog died.So she burried the body of the dog next to the body of her brother and started crying.A couple of days later she saw some eggs hatching and when Karana saw the birds she thought of keeping them and she did.She tought them how to say their name.Next she met a girl and she did not know who she was.When the girl left she wanted Karana to go wiht her,but she wouldn't because who the people she was living were the peolple who killed her father.Until one day the people that left them behind came to pick them up and they lived very happy.

The Order Monster...By Sheila Gorden ...This story is about a boy named Julius,he received a form to order a monster ,Julius thought it was a real monster but it was just a toy and it cost $4.99.Then when Julius received the monster he saw a small box and he wondered if it would grow very big ,and then the mail man gives Julius a paper that said;Pump with air pumper. Then Juluis ran inside to show his family what he ordered and then he got an air pumper to blow it up and when he was finished he told every body to stay quiet and the monster will do something and so everybody stayed very quiet for a few minutes and the monster didn't do anything so Julius mailed it back and he wantd his money backand he did get his money back with some toy's and notebooks.

Class President By:Johanna Hurwitz..........Class President is a good story to read because it's about a class president election.Julio,Cricket and Lucas are the main characters in the story.In the first day of fifth grade they had a new teacher they had never seen before.The new teacher's name is Mr.Flores.Mr.Flores said that they were going to have a election on who's going to be class president.Cricket got so excitedabout it that she asked the teacher if they could have the election right.He said in a few days they will have the election.Then Cricket made a poster that said vote for Cricket that's the ticket.The next day they couldn't play soccer because a boy in the class fell down and broke his glasses.Julio,Lucas,and Cricket went to talk to the principal.When they went Julio was the only one who solved the problem.When they went back to the class Cricket said that she had solved the problem.A few days past.Then they had the election and it turns out that Julio won the election so he became Class president.

Francis passed out some bat-wing brownies and vampire blood, but Arhtur is too scared even to touch them. To make his embbaresment worse, he is forsed to drag his little sister along when the gang goes trick-or-triding. Some treat. First D.W's tail gets caught. Then her bag breacks. Then she dissapered into the spooky house where the whitch lives. Tumble Bumble by Felica bond This story Tumble bumble takes place in a town. The story starts when a ant meets a cat and then they meet a alligator and they became freinds. Then the ant and the cat and the alligator met a bee and they where scared beacause they thought that the bee will stin them alot of times but the bee told the ant the cat the alligator that he is a nice bee and that he doesn't stin people.Then the freinds went by a pig and the pig was scared beacause of the big alligator.The ant the cat the bee the alligator told the pig that they were all scared of eachother when they met.A problem accurs when the freinds wanted to make a party beacause of their freindship.A door was open in a house so the freinds went inside the house and tooka nap ina room ina bed. But when a boy that lived in that house went to his house after playing baseball. When the boy went upstairs to his room he found the ant the cat the alligator.The problem is solved whe the boy doesn't get mad at the freinds but instead they all played. At the end they lived happily ever after.

The Wump World........By Bill peet..........This story takes place on the tall grassy meadows. The Wumps are nice helpfull creatures who love eachother. The Pollutians are characters in the story who hate eachother. At first the Wumps were nice and peacefull untill the Pollutions came and scared the Wumps into a cave. ........ A problem occurs when the Pollutions came and started destroing the land. So the big machines came out and started making tall sky skrapers and buildings that put smog and other stuff in the air. Next the Pollutians went to the leader and said " we want to go to a new planet ",and so they did. The problem is solved when the pollutions leave and the Wumps bust out of the cave and look for green land. In the end they found it and were happy again.
