HELPFUL HINT : when you answer a question, include the question in the answer so we know what you are resonding to. Example, instead of writing "dinosaurs" to answer a question like "What animals lived on the earth 100 million years ago", you might write "Dinosaurs were living on the earth 100 million years ago". This way everyone knows what question you are answering. Thanks !

Hi Marcy. This is Mrs. Perez I thought I'd let you know what a positive, exciting experience this was today. Amazing (the force was with us) we were able to get online on all our computers today. I have four leaders at our student bank of computers with about half the class seated behind them. They worked together researching and answering questions. The rest participating with me on my laptop with a TV link. We all got to the quiz and there was applause at the end when they completed it successfully. Now that they've had a real online experience, they are really motivated. I am looking for two more dig partners -- one beginning 11:15-11:30 and another about 12:30 any day except a Wednesday. Can you help me connect? Thanks for your support.

These are the biggest fossils in the world. The Petrified Forest was formed when a huge volcano erupted around 3 million years ago. The eruptions, and ash fall that followed, lasted for many thousand years! Combined with rain, this colossal geological event buried and preserved a gigantic forest that once stood there. The ash fall of Mount Saint Helens eruption in 1980, for example, lasted only 9 hours!
