Jerry And Jeff - we have a few roadrunners here near the Camp office - and I have only seen them run too. Once in Arizona I saw one standing very still, listening and watching, and then he too zipppped off fast. Have you ever watched Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons ?

Please take a quick vote in your classroom. How many explorers saw a rattlesnake ? how many saw a tree frog ? How many saw a horned toad ? a roadrunner ? Let us know how many sightings there were - and were they the same creature or did you see different ones ? this will help us understand the numbers of wild life in the canyons thanks to your first hand experience!
