I really had fun answering all the questions on the camp packet. My favorite part was when we got to do a live chat. In some of the live chats we had to answer some questions some of them were about volcanoes and some were about marine studies. Then there were the ones were we got to chat with some children that were at Catalina. They were answering all of the questions that were asked. A lot of the questions that they asked were about what plants they saw and why they were named that.

I enjoyed Camp Internet because I learned about the ancient southwest and dinosaurs. I enjoyed looking for answers to challenging questions. The best part was the reward for doing the packet. We got to go to Catalina Island. I learned a lot there. On the island, I learned about marine science, the geology of the island, the plants, and the animals. Camp Internet was a great experience for me.

Some of the things I liked about Camp Internet are the pictures. I really like the pictures of the sea animals. Another thing that I sort of liked was the passport. I don't know why but I did. My enjoyment of Camp Internet consists of learning about the southwest, taking a glorious trip to Catalina Island, and chatting about my adventures. In the Camp Internet passport, my favorite section to complete was Dinosaurs and Petrified forests. I learned much about the species of dinosaurs, as well of how petrified forests are formed. Catalina Island flourished with plant and animal life, which was wonderful to learn about. During chats, I loved showing off all I knew, and all that I had learned, especially on Family Night. Overall, I enjoyed adding to my knowledge of the ancient southwest, as well as Catalina Island.

What I liked about Camp Internet was going to all of the chat rooms and answering questions that the people in the chat room asked. Another thing I enjoyed about Camp Internet was answering the questions that were on the passport. One of the reasons I enjoyed that part was because we were rewarded with an overnight/boat trip to Catalina Island. Camp Internet was also a great learning resource, most of the things I learned will probably be important to me someday. I think that Camp Internet was pretty tough but one of these days I will be rewarded.

One of the many things that I like about Camp Internet is the passport. It was the most challenging assignment I have had this whole year. I also liked the trip we took to Catalina, I learned about plants, animals, and the island. I liked the hike because I asked myself, can I do this or not? I thought when we talked to our family it was cool because they got to know what we did, how we are doing,and how we did it.

My favorite thing about Camp Internet was the trip to Catalina Island and the passports. On Catalina we learned plenty about geology, plant life, and marine life. I learned that Catalina is mostly made of blue-rock schist. One plant from Catalina Island is the lemonade berry. Female leopard sharks live together in a small bay on Catalina Island. The passports were fun because as we were looking for the answers, we would pick up other information that would stick in our head.

I'm glad I got to do Camp Internet. The thing I liked most about Camp Internet was the passport we received. I really enjoyed searching for answers to write down in our passport. My favorite section of the internet site, Camp Internet, was the Channel Islands section. I had the most fun learning about them. Another thing I liked about Camp Internet were the student chats. We got to chat live with our classmates and with a special guest. Camp Internet was great!

That is only one of the many things I liked about Camp Internet. The other thing I liked about Camp Internet is the field trip to Catalina Island. It was really cool doing Camp Internet and also the reward for doing Camp Internet was really cool also. I'm really glad that I did Camp Internet.

Camp Internet was a great learning experience. My favorite part of it was the passport we had to complete and the trip to Catalina Island. The passport expanded my knowledge of Native Americans, geology, dinosaurs, and marine studies. I learned much about the same things at Catalina Island, except I got a live view of the things I learned. When I completed the passport, I had a great feeling in myself because I learned many new things. Also, it was a big packet, so I was happy just completing it because it was my ticket to Catalina Island. The trip to Catalina was a wonderful one. I got to walk down to the barge, see bioluminescence, and watch sea creatures, as well as touch them in the touch tanks. Camp Internet is a great program for kids of all ages.

The passports were fun and challenging, we had to look for the answers on the site and then write them down. While we were looking for the answers to the questions we were also learning about Native Americans, geology, marine biology, and many other subjects! I think that Camp Internet was an amazing and enjoyable experience. I think the idea of using a website to find the answers to questions is a brilliant way to get children to learn about the ancient Southwest and the Internet at the same time. The trip to Catalina was an awesome and educational experience, but learning things like this is it's own reward. I have learned so many things about our ancestors, which now I crave to keep on learning everything there is to know about them. I have learned so much about the Ancient Southwest, and I will keep on learning.

There were a lot of things I liked about Camp Internet. One thing I liked was that I got to learn all about Native Americans, Geology in the Southwest, and so much more. If you answered all the questions in time you would have probably went to Catalina Island. Camp Internet also gave us a great trip. The trip was to Catalina. My favorite place to go in CampInternet is the Student Center because it has lots of cool things like a backpack that you could go to learn stuff. There’s also a place called, well, I forget, but it is cool because you can paint lots of different styles. You could even name the painting and send it in with your name, of course. There’s a place called the library or something like that. That one is kind of cool.

What I like about Camp Internet is the Student Center because it had a lot of cool things. For example, the student chat. In the Student Chat you can ask people for information. I learned that Native Americans used to draw on rocks, but they didn’t have pencils, pens or markers. They had to use other small rocks to write. I also learned that Native Americans had to survive to live in the woods. I think that CampInternet could help you a lot !

I liked the sketch pad, ultra key and the chat room. I liked the sketch pad because I like painting and drawing. They have some really cool tricks. Ultra key is cool and fun because it shows you how to type fast. The chat room is fun because you can chat with your friends or with whomever you want. I learned how to use the Internet, how to get to CampInternet. I think I can’t live without the Internet.

CampInternet was the best. I got to take the Native American test and the rock art test. I got to see places in the dinosaur dig. The best part was when we went to the Back Country and got to see all about the Native Americans that lived there. The chat room—Wow! To send messages that fast so everyone can see them. The art looked so real with the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Indians in it.

I enjoyed going to the chat room, making tables and labeling all kinds of words. Sometimes when went to Microsoft Word to do some work there. I enjoyed going to Flash $ and doing work there like making rocks and coloring them. That was really cool, but sometimes I got stuck. I got back to work. I learned what to do when I got stuck. I learned how to get to CampInternet, save my work and use passwords. Sometimes it’s hard to keep passwords for a lot of things because you can forget them.

I liked the Backcountry section of CampInternet because I learned about rock art, Indians, and about history. Like once, our class went online to see some rock art. Then we went outside and did some rock art. What I learned is that longitude and latitude can help the people who crossed the Atlantic Ocean. I learned that Indians made things out of rocks like rock art. The rock art was my favorite activity.

I enjoyed CampInternet. We discovered gold and arrowheads. What I enjoyed is seeing the cool rock art. When we saw a video about Yosemite Valley, it was so cool. There were huge mountains with snow. I learned that the Native Americans painted their arrowheads so they could kill animals. They also fed on bison, horse and more, but what I really learned in CampInternet was that teamwork can really prove you good.

I like the student dig and student center. I liked the part where we went to sites to find answers. I learned about Indians and learned how to find information about them and their habitats. I learned that there was one big cabin and in each corner was a family. I learned that in the site of chatting that we could look for an answer and then right click, copy and open a word document then right click and paste the answer. It would just show up on the page!

The information that just the normal site gives you is unquestionably great. The webquests and scavenger hunts from your site were fun to do. We saw the Harbor Seals in the rocks of Anacapa. Seals stay in the sea for eight months. They travel 5,000 miles (8,000 kilometers) a year further than any other mammals. During the entire trip, the seals swim to 10 to 100 miles (16 to 160 kilometers) from the coast and never go ashore. The male may grow to be 21 ft. (6.4 meters) long and might weigh up to be 8,000 pounds (3,600 kilometers) They stretch the skin of the seals and sew them into strips to make raincoats.

What I enjoyed this year was the field trip. We saw the ocean and lots of cool plants on Anacapa Island. We also saw dolphins. A dolphin had a hole on top of their head. The hole on top of their head was to breathe. On the field trip we went to the east Anacapa Island. On the boat ride back home, there were lots of dolphins that were jumping in and out of the water.

The most things liked about Camp Internet, was our field trip to Anacapa Island. When we got to Ventura Harbor we got on the boat. It took about 1 in a half, hours to get to the Islands. Our tour guide Holly was talking about the sea hares, sea slugs, sea cucumber, kelp, sea urchins, shells, and the sea stars. What I enjoyed about Camp Internet was the field trip to Anacapa Island. The one thing about it was the sea lions, they barked at us loudly while we were going. They sounded like a dog, but still were sea lions. I enjoyed seeing them with other friends and family. I’m glad we saw them because they are so cool because I never saw one since then. I was interested in being posted on the Internet. My favorite part of being posted was when I had to write my newsletter. I was also pleased with the digs. For example, we had to answer many questions in our chat. I was interested in getting my Halloween story on Camp Internet. I was also curious with the Camp Internet packet. I liked the chats the most because there were questions that you had to answer there were buttons that you clicked on then it would take you to a site and you would the answer. When you found all of the answers you would type them in the send box then Marcy would check all of them .Then you would be done.

Hi, My name is Jamie and I loved camp Internet. So did my mom. She loved the family chats and so did my older sister. I liked how we had to search for all kinds of information and we could work fast or slow. I liked having my own folder and having the questions in it. I was thrilled to see my work as a winner for my school. I worked with a committee on shipwrecks and we presented to the class. The contests were fun and we were excited about going to Catalina. I learned a lot about taking video movies and I want to learn to use the digital still camera more. It was fun to interview the experts. I hope they have programs like this in the Middle School I will be attending.

Hi! My name is Da Young and I go to Tulsa Street School. I have done many of the activities in Camp Internet, and I would like to tell you about some of my favorites. My favorite activity was to take pictures with the digital camera and making videos. I learned a lot about this subject and it was lots of fun. Another activity that I learned and liked about was to chat with others especially to Marcy. This was also a very fun way of learning because the others and Marcy would ask questions for us to figure out on our own. I have posted many of my works and I am proud of what I did. I liked most of the activities that Camp Internet had and I enjoyed them too. I hope they have this program at the middle school that I will be attending. By the way, I was one of the weather reporters and I did a good job with the station that Camp Internet sent us.

Hi, my name is Courtney, and I would like to tell you about what I liked about using Camp Internet. The things I liked were using the digital camera to take pictures. Like for example I used the digital camera to take pictures of some of the things when we went to Catalina. I also worked on the video with my classmates. Which brings us to the field trip Camp Internet provided for us even though my eye was in pain I still kept on track and learned a lot of neat things. I was happy to see my art work and poetry posted on Camp Internet. One of my very favorite things was when I got to be a weather reporter doing this I learned what the weather was and what temperature it was so I could imagine what I should wear the next day. Well I have to go now so I will hopefully see you all next year (if they have a program like this at my next school) so until next time bye and thank you camp Internet.
