When it comes to video and the Camp program, I am responsible for going on a good number of the field trips and getting some short video segments as well as a digital album of photos for use as an online Field Report. As for adding photos to the chat, you just have to add the URL of the photo in the box below, or include it as a link into your chat text.

Telemedicine is the combination of telecommunications and medical technology to bring sometimes much needed health care into areas where more stable facilities are unavailable. With telemedicine, all you need is a phone jack, computer, and internet connection and a rural physician can communicate with specialists in larger cities, as well as take a look at their ears, throat, and skin and transmit that data to those specialists for review. This way the patient has a much better chance at getting cured and travel expenses are reduced.

The Yuuth TEchnology Corps consists of local teenagers who volunteer their time helping out with Camp Internet. We just recently acquired a total of twelve computers, six macs and six PCs, which the students will be using to create graphics and help out with some areas of the Camp website. It should be alot of fun.

From what I understand about the upcoming training, you should be given enough information to start to use basic GIS/GPS skills in the classroom. The ESRI CD's we will be distributing should give you usable Lesson Plans as well as informative papers explaining how to use GIS to teach in the classroon.
