Hi this is Zuleyma and Lizbeth from Cypress. We had a great day.The weather was sunny. We saw sea kelp, pink ice plant,and sunflower plants. We also saw common dolphins,jelly fish and a lizard. The most amazing thing we discovered was seeing the common dolphins. Our favorite thing was seeing around the Anacapa Island. The thing I enjoyed the most was the fildtrip. Thankyou C.I.

We had a very good time at Anacapa Island.The weather was first foggy then it was sunny.We saw sea kelp,gumweed Sunflowers,and pink ice plant, and the white poppies, prickly pear cactus, and coreopsis- not blooming.The animals we saw were Common dolphins, and jelly fish, and some sea gull chicks cracking out of there eggs, and sea Cormorant,sea urchin, sea stars, sea cucumber, sea snails, finally we saw brown pelicans.The most amazing thing that we saw was the Common Dolphins, and the Anacapa Island.Our favorite thing was the Dolphins jumping out of the water.Thank you for everything.GOOD BYE!

Hi this Irma c and Denise. Irma c didn't get to go because she was out of town but this is what Denise saw... We saw sea kelp,Gumweed,sunflowers,Pink Ice plant,Coreopsis-not bloming, prickly pear, shaped cactus and White poppy. We also saw Common dolphins,Jelly fish, sea birds, sea gulls, brown pelican, seals, sea lion, seagull chicks,eggs,and cormorants. It was foggy in the morning sunny in the afternoon warm-84 on the island.My faforite experience is seeing the common dolphins. We really enjoyed going to Anacapa Island.

This is Mrs. Berger the MicroComputer Specialist at Cypress Elementary. We had excellent weather for our trip to Anacapa Island. We saw many seagulls and brown pelicans on our boat ride to the island. Just before we arrived at the island we saw a very large dolphin pod. They were jumping out of the water and took turns swimming in the bow wake of our boat. We were all so excited to watch them. After we went onshore, we ate lunch, then our guide showed us the plant and animal life of the island. On our way back to the boat, we also saw a seagull chick that was starting to hatch from its egg. It was such a wonderful experience to visit Anacapa Island.

Hi, this is Jennifer Conley, the teacher. We had a wonderful day. We almost didn't get to go to Anacapa because our bus was stuck in traffic! Island Packers were incredibly generous in waiting for us. We thanked them all day long:) Our bost ride was a bit rough, with big swells. Four students got sick, two threw up. It was overcast on the way there, but sunny and beautiful on the way back. On the way there, we saw a huge pod of common dolphins who proved that they could swim faster than our boat. That was incredible! On the island, jacob walked us from the east end of Anacapa to Inspiration Point. We saw everthing in bloom but the Coreopsis. I have been to Anacapa 5 times, and this was the MOST beautiful trip I've had yet. The beauty of the island was THE most amazing thing to me. Thank you Camp Internet for providing this wonderful, rewarding, and interesting experience. It was a trip of a life time!
