“Following the attack on Los Angeles, Zorro, alone, riding the only horse left in the village, makes a dash for the coast just in time to swim after the pirate boat; he manages to touch the hand of Lolita as she dejectedly cowers in the stern, assures her of his presence, and whilst the outlaws store their booty, Zorro hides himself aboard the ship. “

CONCLUSION ….. .... Zorro’s stories slashed a rebellious ‘Z’ across early California as an honorable champion. Zorro, The Fox, has also made a permanent mark on the public’s imagination, giving us a legendary figure who represents the noble aspirations of the early Spanish settlers who arrived in the west from Europe … people who valued and respected the rights of the First People, who refused to accept the wrong doings of the greedy settlers around them, and who saw in this new land a chance to create a better society than the settlers had known before. Viva El Zorro !!!
