Community Technology Advisory Councils
RAIN's Community Technology Advisory Councils act as local hubs around which RAIN's community wellness and strengthening efforts revolve. These councils, or "CTAC's" are comprised of representatives from key local organizations or special interest groups that have an interest in using technology to empower their community. In each community, this council acts as the "eyes and ears" for RAIN's efforts, assessing first the state of local health, education, and technology resources, and then providing recommendations on how to best implement DLT Project resources and programs. The formation of a local CTAC group is key to the DLT Project, bringing people and resources together to re-weave the fabric of the community.
