Who is CHCCC?

We are a non profit network of community health centers located in northern Santa Barbara County and southern San Luis Obispo County, that was established in 1978.

Our corporation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our Board members work and/or live in our local communities. They have diverse employment experiences, and are from various age groups and ethnic backgrounds. Board members become involved with CHCCC to improve access to affordable, quality health care services.

CHCCC is an organization recognized by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Health care organizations voluntarily seek Joint Commission accreditation to demonstrate compliance with national quality health standards. These standards insure the highest possible level of performance and continuous quality improvement.

Our providers of care include board certified physicians with specialties in family practice, pediatrics, psychiatry, and internal medicine. The staff also includes dentists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed clinical social workers, dieticians, and psychologists.

CHCCC provides courtesy billing services to your group insurance and may belong to your PPO. In addition, we accept Medicare assignment and Medi-Cal. For qualifying patients, we offer a sliding-fee scale. If you would like to sign your children up for low cost health insurance, we can provide and assist you with Healthy Families applications.
