Infant Dental Care

 Seven(7) to Nine(9) Months old

Sweet Dreams not sweet drinks. Give your baby a favorite toy, not the bottle, at nap or bedtime.

Clean your baby's gums gently with a damp washcloth at least daily.

Thumb and/or pacifier sucking is OK.

If you give your baby a pacifier, use one that says "Orthodontic" on the package. Never tie a pacifier around your baby's neck with a string.

Relieve teething pain by rubbing your baby's gums gently and/or offering clean teething ring or a cold washcloth yo bite and chew on.

Ask about fluoride for your baby's teeth.
