How many inches can a seed grow?

There are many factors that determine the growth of a seed. The amount of water, sunlight, fertilizer, and oxygen are all important for seed growth.

Also some seeds grow into tall trees and some just into short grass. Different seeds can grow different amounts, so growth just depends on the type of seed and the amount of care that the seed receives.

A morning glory can grow to be 142 inches tall. A holly shrub can grow to be 590 inches tall.

A sweet gum tree can grow to be 148 inches tall. (The Cambridge Factfinder, edited by David Crystal)
