On June 26th, the SB Housing Authority had a barbecue to celebrate the end of the GreenNet program for Monteria Village. There was good food, activities for the kids, and an opportunity to get together one more time.

GreenNet had a booth at the 1999 Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival, held at the De La Guerra Plaza. Various plants grown by GreenNet participants were sold to raise money for the project. Small pansies in pots that GreenNet youth had hand painted sold very well.
