4) December: Astronomy & Solstice project (field trip: SB Museum of Natural History Observatory)

5) January: Life Science (field trip: Guadalupe Sand Dunes)

6) February: Environmental Studies (field trip: UCSB environmental. Science dept.)

7) March: Geology (field trip: Figueroa Mt. for sample gathering)

8) April: Ocean Studies and Marine Biology (field trip: whale watching channel area)

9) May: wrap-up and science fair project preparation
