[CINC] Tuesday on the Condor

Hi All,

Tally for today:

•  Humpbacks - 2
•  Humpbacks - 6 (or maybe more with those in the distance)
•  Minke -1
•  Small pod of common dolphins

Condor was completely packed ... with145 passengers.  When we finally  
found the humpbacks (almost to San Miguel), they were very active  
lunge feeding, breaching, pec slapping and putting on a good show.   
However, many passengers were too "under the weather" to enjoy any of  
it.  We were experiencing 20 knot winds, big swell and lots of chop.   
Needless to say, a large fraction of our guests (almost all visitors  
from out of town and a large fraction from Europe) were not happy.

The channel is never predictable ... even in the heart of summer!
