The day started out with Cap'n Dave explaining to the guests if we were
going to see Whales we would have to go over fourty miles West to the
feeding grounds, cosequently we would not be going to Painted Cave. The
weather was outstanding and the Ocean was calm. We made it all the way to
San Miguel and then found a lone Humpback. After a short while Cap'n Dave
decided to move on to see if he could find more Whales. It's a good thing
he made that decision as he located some Whale soup. We had Blues on the
right of the bow and Humpbacks to the left and they were all on the surface
simultaneously. After about an hour of everybody enjoying the Whale show
Cap'n Dave announced time was up and we would have to head home because we
were not going to make it back on time, in fact hed didn't expect us to be
able to make it back before three. Well, at that very moment a Blue
surfaced right next to the bow of the boat. Let me tell you I was standing
on the bow at that moment and it was the most exhilirating experience I've
ever had. Everybody on the bow was absolutely thrilled! I don't know how
much more of this punishment I can take. Have a great one!!!
