Please note that Coastal Cleanup has changed a bit-BYOB is the new
motto-BRING YOUR OWN BAG!  We will no longer be providing PLASTIC bags to
put your trash/recyclables in-this started in SF and now we are doing it
too!! It's easy to re-use your bags, and it keeps even more plastic out of
the water and our channel. Also bring your own water bottle-I will have
plenty of water to drink-just no more plastic bottles!! YEAH!! I have been
complaining about this for years-they have listened to us!! 

Please note the date has changed-it is no longer the 3rd Sat of Sept. 

This is a world-wide event, and I hope you can come out and help clean our
beaches-which actually is cleaning our islands!!

Good afternoon!  We are now accepting community outreach sign-ups for
September.  Please send your request to me and I will add you to our
calendar.  Here are the two events for this month:

***BACK TO SCHOOL & BEYOND 2010- September 19, Sunday, 10am-4pm 
"Discovering the NATURE of Fun Expo" @ Santa Barbara Museum of Natural
History  
A day of fun and music for families and educators!  Learn about exciting
field trips and after-school opportunities organizations offer children in
our community.

***COASTAL CLEAN UP DAY - September 25, Saturday, 9am-12pm (You do NOT need
to sign-up for this, but don't forget to wear your uniform!)

Also, the Park Foundation is sponsoring Surfer's Knoll to Harbor Cove Beach
