[CINC] Sun 10/31 Condor

Before 11am the group of 35 from mostly east coast states and Europe had
seen Common Dolphins and 2 Humpbacks with nice flukes

One very close encounter where the whale came straight at the boat to check
us out within 10  feet

There was one, maybe 2 more off in the distance

The weather was great, the sun was out and seas were calm.

Commons were seen 4 more times during the day

Headed over the SCI, cruised the shore and looked at cave

Pelicans everywhere all day - many more than usual - must have been out
feeding after the rain

Saw one Risso's, quick, then later a group of maybe 10 near the island

PS:

Last Sat was not reported:

No whales but we saw Commons, Risso's, Dall's and Offshore Bottlenose

We headed to AI and cruised around back side and through gap to home
