20 Passengers
175 Common Dolphins
24 Rissos Dolphins
No Whales

Great day on the Channel. Calm seas and light breezes increasing to a light, no white cap chop on the return. Beautiful cloud work as the sun tried to peak out.

Common Dolphin were intermittent most of the day with two definite groups of about 50 for one and 125 for the other.

We had heard of a Humpback toward the gap of Anacapa and SCI but by the time we got there, gone.

Not far from there we encountered the Rissos, leisurely moving about with seemingly no real destination in mind. Nice siting though and the folks enjoyed seeing them. One even gave us a fluke.

Cruised to Prisoners, Pelican Bay, and beyond, with may Pelicans and Cormorants as hunkering down on the ledges an usual hang outs for the coming storm. Then the light increase in the breeze on the homeward run yet with calm seas, a nice day.

Folks from Germany, Maryland, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and even one all the way from the Mesa area or Santa Barbara, California enjoyed a very nice day on the water.

Liza Rizzo was my fellow as naturalist.

Captain Mat, Dennis and Brook did a fine job of it as usual.
