Capt. Dave treated us to a repeat performance of yesterday's trip,
traveling east in near perfect weather and ocean state. Only about
19 miles offshore were the two Humpbacks with two more a few
miles farther east, while 5 or 6 Minkes made an appearance.
We stayed with the closely feeding Humpbacks about an hour
before moving to the West, where we found 1000+ or - Commons,
and then the Pelicans, Gulls, Murres and sea lions joined in for a
feeding free-for-all that was spectacular when the whales decided
to arrive for their share. About 10 passengers were thrilled and
well tended by D.J. & Brooke, while Morgan did P.I.D. and Brian
Resnik and I circulated and Bob Perry added to his photo gallery.
