3 humpbacks

Common dolphin

Rissos

Blue fin shark

Awesome conditions going out, with the commons right near the harbor. Blue
fin shark was a quick sighting for some on the port side. The Humpbacks were
just north of Emma Wood State Beach, the breach I am sure could have been
viewed by those enjoying the surf or beach, and just happened to look at the
blink of an eye moment. Rissos were swimming close to SCI, very young group,
slapping pectoral fins.

It was fun to see humpbacks this late in the season interacting with the
boat and also interacting with a few sea lions that just wouldn't leave the
whales alone. The trumpeting was loud and clear (maybe a scolding to the
playful sea lions?), Maybe the breach was an "ok, now, I just have had
enough of you!". Who knows- but it was a great interactive day with Keith
Hale, Vivi Teston and myself (pid) interacting with the 36 passengers .
Capt. Dave, Dennis and Matt in the galley awesome and efficient as ever.

Passengers were from all around Europe and US.
