[CINC] unusual peregrine sighting

On Nov. 12th, for the greater part of the day, I watched a peregrine falcon fly next to the Norwegian Star
Panamax cruise ship. The ship was going from Puntarenas, Costa Rica to Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala.
This falcon caught a bird flying along side the Star and proceeded to eat it while flying.
There was no land in sight and from looking at Google Earth I think we may have been over fifty miles from the nearest land.
The bird was photographed at dawn by another passenger perched on the back of the ship.
