1 Humpback travelling north like a coastal gray whale

50 + 1000 + 500 Common Dolphins

Lots of jellies

1 Guadalupe Fur Seal (in a crate)

1 North Fur Seal (in a crate)

2 crated CA sea lion

26 passengers

17 CIMWI volunteers to see their friends released to the sea

8 Marine Mammal Center volunteers for SLO and Sausalito to see their friends
released to the sea

 

Today we left at 8am and saw a humpback almost immediately out of the harbor
heading east alone shoreline park and Hendry's beach less than a mile from
shore.

We stayed with it about an hour then headed toward SCI to do the release of
our furry passengers eager to get back in the water.

Seeing 2 large groups of dolphins was nice since I haven't seen these
numbers in over a year.

Today was flat, calm, no wind, warm, sunny (but not 107 degrees like last
week). It was the perfect weather boating day.
