Hi All,

Today's Sightings:

Risso's Dolphins: one pod of two individuals and one of 10-15  
individuals

Common Dolphins: 150

The fog was dense, and never lifted.  If there were whales out there,  
we couldn't see them.  Big disappointment for most of the  
passengers ... many from Europe and Asia.  Unhappily, the common  
dolphin pod had a least 15-20 individuals who exhibited lesions (some  
very large), missing skin and, in some cases, open sores.  I have  
never seen these kinds of wounds (or sores?)  before, and can only  
speculate ... orca or disease ... I have no idea.
