[CINC] Another oil platform explosion in the Gulf of Mexico

Brace yourselves fellow CINCers, just in another oil platform explosion in the Gulf.

Gulf Oil Platform Owned by Mariner Energy Has Explosion, Coast Guard Says
A platform owned by Mariner Energy Inc. in the Gulf of Mexico was struck by an explosion, U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Casey Ranel said in a telephone interview. 
The oil and gas production platform is owned and operated by Mariner, said Blaine Dinger, director of environmental safety for the company. He declined to comment further. 
There are seven Coast Guard helicopters, two Coast Guard airplanes and four Coast Guard cutters on the way to the rig, according to Ranel.
