[CINC] AI day trip

Beautiful calm day on the sea and Anacapa. NPS wildlife biologist Helen Fitting is conducting mouse monitoring on AI and she spoke to visitors about how she traps them and handles the population count. A report will be out sometime in the fall.

Helen had seen a juvenile bald eagle fly over just after we landed, but we didn't see it!

On return trip: 500 common dolphins, 3 gray whales - adults heading west. Flukes and short dive times made for good viewing.

Capt. Lee Fleischer was in volunteer blue today and on the trip and, it is his birthday today, Capt. Jason made an announcement over the P.A. It was a great day for all.
