9am trip:
2 bottlenose dolphins outsidethe harbor
A few common dolphins seen at two locations
A dozen Dalls Porpoises
6 Humpbacks

After about 1 1/2 hours of looking for whales Captn Mat took us out to mid channel at Dennis' good advise, and there they were!  A group of 4 and a group of 2 Humpbacks feeding and showing off their tail flukes.

12 Noon:
A few common dophins 
4 Humpbacks

Back out to the mid channel we found humpbacks a bit east of the area we found them in the am.  Great show of one large whale's pure white pectorals, they glowed turquoise under the water.  Two came up from under the boat directly under the bow to entertain our whale watchers.
 
3PM trip, was not on board, Gary D was the lone naturalist who came in to fill in the void.

9 AM  Gary Del, Rae Emmett with me on PID.  12 noon, Rae and I with special guest Barbara LaCorte and 3PM Gary returned.  Great day with Captn Mat, Dennis and Matt.
